Doggy- Sitting

Since last Thursday we have been doggy-sitting for Tucker while Randy, Carol and William are in Canada doing some serious fishing! Tucker has been so good, and the boys have had a great time with him. This morning we took Tucker along to daycare to see the kids in Gannon's room. Gannon LOVED showing him off and wanted Tucker to spend the whole day with him there. After much convincing...I was finally able to take Tucker back home.

Grandpa's And The Boys

Gannon and I drove down to Remsen to pick up my grandparents Sunday. They spent a few hours with us, then my dad took them back home on his way to Sioux City. I got a few pics of the boys with both grandpas before they took off. It was nice to see them, and very nice to see Grandpa Joe feeling so much better. He looks great after a few scares!

Shingles

The Shingles are on......after a HOT HOT two days of work. Thanks so much to Ben and Justin for helping us this weekend. We will be leaving for vacation Saturday, so it will be two weeks until we get the siding installed.

Dads Helper

After supper the past few nights, Daren has been showing Hunter how to run Grandpas skid loader that we've been using for the garage work. He's getting pretty good at running it, with Dads supervision of course!

Hot Temps call for Sprinklers!

With the weather so hot on Sunday, Gannon and Riley, Ben and Karie's little guy, found a great way to cool off. They put the sprinkler under the trampoline and had a great time!

Mr. Baseball

Gannon has taken on a true love for baseball this summer! Here are a few pics I took of him over the weekend with his hat and cleats on. He's quite the character!

Still Working On It......

Took a whole weekend.....but they got the dormers buildt on the garage! They look GREAT!!

Heres a few pics taken the night of my birthday after a few drinks with "The Hood!" The kids cooled off in the pool and the adults cooled off with some great drinks! Thanks Jan!!!

Garage

The garage is coming along! We have the walls and rafters up after a long HOT weekend of work! Thanks to Daren and my Dad, its really looking nice! This weekend they hope to get the dormatory windows all buildt, then its shingling and siding and installing the doors. A few more weekends of work, but they are doing awesome. We were suppose to have the driveway cement poured last Tuesday, however the hot temps took care of those plans. Hopefully they can get to it tomorrow....Im sick of all the dirt, and my house shows! We have the brick layers coming in a few weeks to do all the stone work around the garage and house. Its been hard to pick the exact stone we want as it will also be around the house. Sometimes I wonder if it would have been easier to buy a different house! :) Its looking great and we really appreciate all the help we've gotten from my dad, Justin and Jon. They do awesome!

More 4th Pictures

4th of July

Here are some pictures taken on the 4th at the lakehouse. Gannon had so much fun playing with Addy, and Hunter enjoyed being able to light all the fireworks by himself this year. It was a great day, and a long drive home! :) The boys were sleeping a few miles down the road!
