Its finally coming to the time when you can actually see the progress we've made from all the late nights and weekends of work! After several weeks of de-construction and getting the area ready for the new garage/rec area, we finally have progress! Here are some pictures taken of us laying the infloor heat, notice who is doing the work and who is drinking the beer! :) Also are some pictures after the cement was poured. This week will be another busy construction week at the house. They will be doing the dirt work and landscaping work to prepare for the driveway cement, and my dad will be here on Friday to put the walls and the rafters up. Its so nice to see it coming along after several weeks of tearing down the old garage, taking trees and landscaping out, and digging.....things that take alot of time, but dont necessarily show progress. I will keep posting new pictures at the building comes along.
The boys are keeping busy this summer. Hunter has been busy with baseball games/practice, and going with the neighbors to the middle school games. He spends most afternoons at the pool and most evenings playing baseball with friends or helping dad on the garage. Hes becoming quite the social bug, riding his bike around with friends and going to the baseball diamond. Its a big step for mom and dad letting him go on his own, but hes doing well. Gannon loves being at the pool and playing in all the dirt in our backyard. He takes his tractors out there and plays for hours, only to stop to ride with dad in the skidloader. He even hauls dirt and rocks in his gator all around the neighborhood. Gannon also has taken on a new love for baseball. He is amazing.....he hits the ball better than some kids Hunters age, and never uses a T. He spends alot of time outside playing, and bugging our neighbor Mitchell to pitch to him. Hes got a fun personality....and keeps us busy! Potty training is coming along, doing very well, but still not 100%! We'll keep at it!
