Sunday night, we got together with our friends Chris and Candi for some chili. The guys spent most of the night watching ESPN to get the official ruling on the National Championship game. (Daren being a huge Michigan fan was very upset with the outcome!) Candi got this picture of the kids hanging out in the kitchen eating grilled cheese! They are so funny when they are all together.

Its Christmas Time Again
Its that time of the year again, time to TRY and get the boys to sit by each other without fighting and smile nice as we quickly try and snap a Christmas photo of them. This is one picture we got, the other one Im saving for Christmas cards. As I was looking at the boys, I noticed Hunters nose still has some bruising and blood around it from a wrestling injury earlier in the week. Hunter has his first wrestling tournament of the season tonight in Sibley! We are so excited! Ill keep you posted on how he does! Thanks also to Candi for coming over and taking the pictures! You always do such a great job!

First Day of School

More Arnolds Park Pics...
Here are more pictures from Arnolds Park. Hunter with his friend Grant and cousin Kade enjoying some rides. Gannon is with Lindsay on the boats, having fun! And if you look really close you will see Gannon riding on the SRAMBLER with Nate! Gannon insisted riding on the scrambler and Nathan was happy to take him. He had so much fun! No fears! All you can see are his legs and top of his head, but inbetween are lots of smiles!
Arnolds Park Weekend
Just got some pictures developed from this summer and thought I'd get them posted even though they are several months old. Here are some from Randys birthday party at Arnolds Park.
Here is Addy and Gannon hanging out while Jenna and Hunter are riding some rides.
Jenna and Hunter are in that cage if you can zoom in and see them! I thought it would be safe for him to ride with his aunt Jenna, however, soon realized that was a mistake when it started spinning continually! :)

Hunters School Pic
Hunter brought home his first grade school picture last week. I think they turned out pretty nice. His hair is getting so long, and despite what his father says, we are leaving it long!! :) Hunter has been keeping busy with the rec program this fall. He has soccer twice a week and Football on Fridays. Daren coaches the football program, so Hunter really enjoys that! Last week Gannon got to participate also, or should I say, he joined in with the big boys regardless of what we wanted him to do. At one point I saw Gannon running across the field w/ a football in one hand and his flags around his waist like the rest of the first graders! I think he forgets hes only two! The flags were longer than he is, and drug on the grass, but that didnt stop him! Gannon's been enjoying the fall season, getting to go in the combine with Papa! He wakes up talking about the combines and tractors and goes to bed praying for the combine and tractors.....he truely is a farm boy, and Im sure makes his papa proud! Daren and I just keep busy getting the boys to were they are suppose to be and working. The store is getting busier as the weather turns colder too. Already got the Christmas wrapping paper out and ready to go! You've got to love retail! Hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful fall! More pics to come!

Hot Dog Days In Sheldon
Monday night Sheldon celebrated "Hot Dog Days!" Daren and Hunter along with Terry, Chrissy and myself served up hot dogs from 5-7pm. Our theme was "Hot Dog Zone." Although we didnt take the title of Hot Dog Champ, we had alot of fun, and our construction theme got alot of compliments! Here is a picture of Ruby stopping by for a hot dog and Hunter serving a customer some chili that made the paper!

New Fall Clothes
This past week has been very busy at Rockman Clothing. We are trying to keep up with the new fall arrivals. Yesterday we finished re-arranging the store to accomodate for some new Nautica clothing, and shortly after we we were done, my backroom was full of boxes w/ more fall clothes.
Back at the ranch.....Hunter is getting ready for school to start August 23rd. We have almost everything except a new backpack. Gannon will be moving over to the two year old room in daycare the end of the month. He is anxious for the move, as the two year olds spend more time outside and have a larger room for climbing around. Daren's been busy at work and has also completed some house projects the last few weeks. (hopefully the bathroom remodel is next on his list! :) ) We were hoping to take a quick weekend getaway before school, but time is running out on us- Summer is flying by this year!

We survived our first Crazy Days Sale at the store yesterday. Thanks to Gary and Darren for coming up to help work, and for lots of laughs!! It was a nice, successful, LONG day, but lots of fun too. Chrissy and I were very happy to see 7pm roll around! Back to work today, getting everything organized are re-arranged in the store. With temps near 100 degrees, Ive decided to keep all the clothes inside this afternoon. Begining to fill the store with new fall merchandise, and it looks great. Hunters First Wrestling Tourney
These are a bit late, but still exciting nevertheless. Hunter took place in his first wrestling tournament this year. He finished fourth which was exciting for him, mainly because he got a trophy to show off! I started off watching calmly as the matches took place, and soon found myself "acting" like Daren....on the side of the mat coaching away and loudly helping Hunter with his moves. Hunter had some great matches and even pinned a kid. He proudly shows his trophy to everyone, and we are very proud of him! Here are some pics of him wrestling, receiving his trophy, and messing around with his buddy Zak!
